Chapter 891
Her face was hidden, but she still managed to collapse her colour and said coldly, “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
The Six Gods weren’t annoyed, but shook their heads in disappointment and said, “Don’t you really remember anything at all?Or have you actually remembered it and just don’t want to face it?”
His eyes, glazed over, looked at her.
Bella Qiao was slightly annoyed because the memory that appeared in her own mind was actually a bit complicated right now.
For a moment, I couldn’t tell if he was telling the truth or not.
The reason she couldn’t hold it was because, for a few years before she followed her mother to the Don, she didn’t really have any memories.
I don’t know if it’s because she’s too young to remember or for some other reason, but the memories from before the age of six or seven are a complete blank in her mind.
She knew that people would fade away as they grew up and forgot some of the things they did as children.
So she didn’t think much of it before.
But now, the images in her mind, the familiarity of that little girl, and that kind and familiar voice, were pulling her memories back.
Did… did she really know the man in front of her?
This man in front of her was really the little boy she remembered?
What is their relationship? And why was she here as a child?
Bella Qiao’s eyes showed a touch of confusion.
The Six Gods looked at her and said in a deep voice, “Bella Qiaoao, actually if you really don’t want to face it, I can understand you, after all, I’m the one who lost you, that’s why you were picked up by someone else and changed your name to become what you are today, it’s not your fault.”
Bella Qiao shook hard.
Unbelievably, he looked at him.
“What did you say?Losing me?”
“Yes.”
The Six Gods nodded and said in a deep voice, “Bella Qiaoao, we are brother and sister, the same father and mother, this is our childhood home, at that time, our parents were still there, but because something happened in the middle of the day, I lost you, I have been looking for you all these years, but I have never heard from you, do you know how anxious I am?”
He said, his eyes moving to show some emotion.
Bella Qiao frowned and didn’t know why, obviously the other party was speaking movingly, and that look was familiar in her mind again.
But she couldn’t even muster a bit of pity or affection.
She said coldly, “So?Is that why you brought me in this time?”
The six gods choked.
The indifference to Bella Qiao was unexpected.
His eyes darkened and he said in a deep voice, “Jojo, our parents are dead, and now that you’re the only family I have in this world, there’s no way I’m going to see you go out into the world.”
“There’s no way you’d see me in exile, so you’d kidnap me by such means?”
Bella Qiao snickered.
The Six Gods explained, “I don’t use such tactics, will you come back with me?”
Bella Qiao choked.
The six gods continued again, “You’ve always wanted to know who I am, haven’t you?Well, I’ll tell you, I’m the head of the Chinese Society’s Green Mountain Hall, you should know that!”
Qiao Yiqi shook fiercely.
Pupils dilated and looked at him, a little incredulous.
Of course she knows about the Chinese Society’s Aoyama Hall!
Back then, between the Vermilion Bird Society and the Dragons’
Wasn’t it the Chinese who started the war?
Although, this reason had been slightly overruled by her and Gu Siqian now that the Heavenly Book of Jade was now available, knowing that there was likely someone else behind the scenes.
But in the midst of that war back then, the Chinese would have moved, or even pushed the envelope, that’s for sure.
Her eyes suddenly went cold at the thought.
She sneered, “So, you know Xu Changsha and the others, too?”
The six gods looked at her quietly and nodded, “Recognize.”
“Heh!”She burst out laughing so sarcastically.
“So, you think that if you tie me up in this way, and then help me remember some of my childhood memories, I’ll be filled with emotion and gratitude for accepting you and acknowledging you?Are you guys thinking too naively?”
She paused and suddenly smirked again, “You planned that previous kidnapping too, didn’t you?”
She was referring to the time when she was in a car accident and was rescued from the water and halfway back to Gu Siqian.
I thought that the other side would deny it.
Unexpectedly, Rokugan nodded after only a brief moment of contemplation.
“It’s me too, and I’m sorry it’s always the same way, but as you know, based on our previous history, I don’t think it’s going to be easy for you to calm down and really talk to me without using tougher tactics.”
Georgie had to admit that he was right.
With the fact that he had meddled in the matter between the Vermilion Bird Society and the Dragon Group, single-handedly bringing about the situation today and causing the tragic deaths of countless of her good brothers and sisters, she would not be able to forgive them.
Not to mention, the culprit that led to this disaster, Xu Chang sad and his group were still here, standing with them.
And how could she accept him?
Thinking that, her eyes went cold.
Unceremoniously, he said, “If by so-called talk you mean that you want me to reconcile with you and then acknowledge the relationship between me and you, don’t tell me that I’m not sure if we’re really brother and sister as you say, and even if we are, I can’t reconcile with you, so just kill the idea!”
Her words caused the eyes of the six gods to go slightly cold.
He looked at her and said quietly, “Do you hate me that much?Hate us?”
Bella Qiao smirked and asked rhetorically, “What do you think?”
Her cold, disgusted gaze caused Rokugan to choke slightly, revealing a hurt expression.
“Okay, I admit that we were sorry about what happened before, but at the time, I didn’t know you were my sister.”
He said, paused, and sighed again.
“I know, it’s too late to say anything now, you’re so stubborn you can’t possibly forgive me, and it doesn’t matter, you’ll be staying here for the time being, I’ll give you time to think about everything until you calm down.”
When he finished, he waved his hand, indicating that she could leave.
Kitty Qiao looked at him, her eyebrows loose.
Naturally, she didn’t have the luxury of hoping that the man in front of her would actually just let her go.
You know, the man in the silver mask was still guarding the outside at this hour, and even though she hadn’t seen the obvious bodyguards outside earlier, who knew if they had a hidden stake in the ambush?
So, at this time, even if he no longer locked himself up, he could only move around the villa.
Thinking this, Bella Qiao suddenly asked, “Where is Xiao Yue?What have you done with her?”
Rokugami’s eyes loosened slightly when he heard her ask where Moon was.
Chapter 892
He looked up at her and said, “Don’t worry, I know how much you like that girl, so I didn’t hurt her, go back to your room and rest, I’ll let me bring her over later.”
Bella Qiao saw him say that and made sure he wasn’t lying to himself.
She turned around and headed upstairs.
It was only after she had left that Ah Shui came in from outside.
He looked at the direction that Bella Qiao had left and frowned unhappily, clearly unhappy with Bella Qiao’s attitude towards Rokugan just now.
However, he knew his identity and knew that he was not qualified to give an opinion at this moment, so he only asked, “Hall Master, are you going to bring Yue Ling over?”
The six gods nodded.
“Bring her here, and remember to deliver her words, and if she dares to say anything…”
He said, his eyes hard.
Ah Shui immediately understood and bowed his head and responded, “Yes, I understand.”
Afterwards, turn around and leave.
Soon, Moon was brought over.
When she saw Rokugan, her eyes, which were still cold and watery, struck hard and took a step towards him.
“Where’s my mother-in-law?What have you done with her?”
Rokugan narrowed his eyes at the woman who was close at hand.
He said quietly, “Don’t worry, we still have use for keeping you na, so don’t worry, that wife of yours is fine.”
Moon was breathing hard, staring at him with hatred.
“Where is she?I want to see her.”
I said, a hand tugging at his sleeve.
Rokugan looked at her clenched fingers and smiled nonchalantly.
“It’s not impossible to see her, but now I’ll give you a task.”
He said, raising his head to indicate the upstairs room, “Go!Convince her of the fact that she’s my sister, and then at the right time tell her how hard it’s been for me as a brother all these years, and how about if she’ll acknowledge our brother-sister relationship and stay again, I’ll return that wife to you?”
Moon’s eyes were wide open.
“You clearly said before that you’d return my mother-in-law to me if I helped you bring her out, and you lied to me?”
Rokugan narrowed his eyes and smiled badly.
“Yeah, I lied to you, what?”
“You!”
Moon was so angry that she subconsciously wanted to raise her hand and punch him with a clenched fist.
However, with his fist still in mid-air, he was confronted with his eyes that looked like they were smiling, but were actually cold and cold.
To think that my mother-in-law is old and now in his hands and still doesn’t know if she’s alive or dead.
If anything happened to this man here today, I’m afraid that my mother-in-law’s life would be hopeless.
Her hands went limp, as if she had been suddenly sapped of all her strength.
I’m begging you, Six Gods, if there’s anything you want, just come at me, she’s just an old man who doesn’t know anything, just let her go, okay?If you’ll let her go, I promise I’ll do whatever you tell me to do from now on, okay?”
She said, sounding almost pleading.
Yet the six gods’ faces did not show any emotion, or softness of heart.
He still had that cold and indifferent look as he looked at her and laughed lightly, “Tsk, this weak look is really a pity for me, but Little Spirit, I’ve told you before, I’m a person who doesn’t like to hear assurances and I don’t like any mountain oaths, because those are all lies.”
“Why should I believe in vain oaths and promises when all I have to do is hold a man’s soft threat firmly in my hand, and that man will listen to me?Don’t you think?”
Moon looked at him, her eyes gradually changing from pleading to bone-deep hatred.
She let go of his hand, straightened up, and said coldly, “So, you’re sure you’re not going to let him go, right?”
The six gods raised an eyebrow.
“Are you going or not?”
Moon pursed her lips and didn’t speak.
Behind him, Ah Shui came up.
Whispering in her ear, “Yue Ling, don’t blame me for not advising you, the Hall Master wants to achieve a goal, there are plenty of ways to do it, it’s not like he has to use you, but you want to keep that wife safe, but you can only listen to him, you have to see who has the initiative, and don’t do anything that you will regret.”
He finished and straightened up.
The two fists that Yue Ling placed at his side, however, were slowly clenched.
So tight that her nails were almost embedded in her palm, and the sharp pain that hit her made her face cold and hard.
After a half-hearted moment, she let go of it slowly at last, followed by a snicker.
“Okay, I promise.”
After a pause, he added, “But you also have to promise me that this is the last time, Rokugan, that the initiative is now in your hands, and if you try to threaten me, there’s nothing I can do about it.”
“But don’t you forget that the rabbit bites when it’s anxious! If you really drive me crazy, the worst that can happen is that we’ll all die and no one will be safe!”
After she finished speaking, there was a majestic and cold air emanating from her body, but it really made the two men present raise their eyebrows unexpectedly.
The six gods’ eyes flashed with amusement and said, “Interesting.”
He stood up, straightened his clothes, and looked at Moon again.
Then, before chuckling softly, “Let’s go.”
Finished, taking her upstairs with him.
Upstairs, Georgie is sitting in her room.
At this point, she looked out the window, there was nothing on the bare lawn, only the faint lights around the villa, spilling down to illuminate a row of benches, increasingly lonely and silent.
Her mind was a mess.
The strange memories came flooding back like a tidal wave, making her panic and fear.
Although, she had just told Rokugan outside with certainty that she would never acknowledge him, for some reason, there was a hidden feeling of unease in her heart.
She always felt that everything was too unreal.
It was as if the person in this situation was not herself at this point.
It was a feeling that made her feel as if she was floating on a cloud, and she had just noticed that she trembled slightly as she placed her fingers on the window sill.
It’s like it’s out of her control, just the thought of those images and the whole state of her body is very wrong.
What’s going on here?
She didn’t frown.
Just then, there was a knock on the door from outside.
“Jojo, are you asleep?”
Georgie turned her head to look over.
The voice she remembered was the man who had just been outside claiming to be her brother, called Rokugan.
Didn’t he leave himself alone for a while? What are you doing here now?
She frowned, hesitated for only two seconds, and then spoke out, “No.”
The door was pushed open from the outside and Rokugan walked in with the woman.
When Bella Qiao saw the petite figure standing behind him, his pupils shook, followed by a flash of surprise creeping up his cheeks.
“Moon!”
“JoJo!”
Moon also had a look of surprise and delight, and immediately flew towards her.
Chapter 893
Georgie stood up and hugged her.
“Jojo, I finally met you, so you’re really okay, oooooh, you scared me to death.”
She hugged Bella Qiao, her body still shaking from fear.
Georgie hugged her, feeling a little mixed up and a little apologetic.
She knew that Moon was just an ordinary girl who had probably never experienced anything like kidnapping in her life.
This time, it was only because of herself that she had gotten herself into trouble.
So the guilt grew even worse, and she patted her gently on the shoulder and said, “Okay, it’s okay, don’t be afraid.”
Moon whimpered twice and lifted her head from her shoulder.
As I wiped my tears, I asked, “What the hell is going on, Sister Jojo.”
Bella Qiao looked at Rokugan, who was still standing by the door, with cold eyes.
“It’s nothing, don’t worry, you’ll be fine.”
Rokugan saw that she kept looking at him with a mischievous gaze and knew that he was not welcome here, so he shrugged his shoulders and turned to go out.
Georgie motioned for Moon to untie herself, then walked over to the door and closed it.
Once she was sure that she shouldn’t be heard outside anymore, she then folded back and looked at Moon, first checking her up and down with her eyes to make sure she wasn’t hurt and that she shouldn’t have been mistreated in any way.
She came over, took Moon’s hand and sat down on the edge of the bed and asked, “How are you?You haven’t been hurt in two days, have you?Did they give you a hard time?”
Moon shook her head.
She still had a distinctly post-apocalyptic look on her face.
But because she was afraid of Georgie’s worry and guilt, she tried to act as if she wasn’t afraid.
Little did she know that the more she did this, the more distressed Bella Qiao would be.
She shook her head and said, “I’m fine, they just locked me up, they didn’t beat me or give me a hard time, they just wouldn’t tell me anything about you all the time, oooh, I was worried sick.”
Bella Qiao was heartbroken as he watched her cry.
She touched her head and reassured her, “Don’t be afraid, it’s all right now.”
As I said that, I patted her back gently.
Moon lifted her face and looked at her with a hidden worry on her face.
“Who are they, Sister Jojo? Why did they catch us here?”
Bella Qiao’s eyebrows furrowed and her mind pondered a little, but she decided not to tell Xiao Yue the truth so as not to scare her.
So, only softly explaining, “They are from another organization that captured me because of some personal issues about me, you are just a passing incident they captured you, so if nothing else, they won’t do anything to you, don’t worry.”
Moon shook her head incessantly.
“I’m not worried about myself, I’m worried about you…”
Bella Qiao laughed.
“Silly girl, I’ve got even less to worry about, have you ever seen me suffer at the hands of anyone?”
Moon thought about it, but it wasn’t really like that.
So she opened up and laughed too.
“JoJo is the most powerful person in the world, and no one can beat you!”
Bella Qiao nodded and reassured, “So if there’s a chance that I let you go, you must go and not think about anything else understand?”
The smile on Moon’s face froze.
Bella Qiao ignored her reaction and continued, “The target of my gang is me, and I’m sure I can’t leave now, no matter how good you are, you can’t beat them with your fists, but you can.”
Moon’s face changed at once.
She shook her head even as she said, “No, I can’t leave you alone.”
Kitty Qiao frowned.
“It’s not like we’re leaving me alone, it’s better for you to go out and get help than to be stuck here with two people.”
She said, looking up at the darkened window, only to feel like there were invisible eyes staring down at her in the endless darkness, making herself invisible.
She didn’t know why she felt this way, but it was true that this place made her feel very insecure.
Tang Qi Qi had already died for her, so no matter what she tried, she couldn’t let anything happen to Xiao Yue again.
All men were created equal, and she couldn’t let any more of them, for her sake, lose their lives.
Thinking this way, she pursed her lips and suddenly turned to Xiao Yue and said, “To tell you the truth, the man who just sent you in is most likely my half-brother, we might have gotten separated when we were young and only met now, he’s always wanted to recognize me back, but because of some past differences so I couldn’t recognize him.”
“The feuding may be somewhat compounded, and you don’t need to understand all of it, just know that he’s not going to kill me at random, so there’s no need to worry about my safety.”
“Right now, what we’re lacking is someone to inform the outside world, when you’re out of here, you’ll go to Gu Siqian, and then he’ll naturally find a way to get me out, understand?”
Moon stared at her in stunned silence, nodding after a long moment.
“I see.”
And then, after a pause, “But…how am I going to get out of here.”
Bella Qiao pondered.
In fact, until now, she hadn’t been entirely sure that the six gods weren’t lying to her.
But in her mind, she did have those vague memories, and if her memories were correct, there was a good chance that the relationship between the two would be real.
The other side’s purpose for capturing her might not be as pure as he himself said, but there was no need to doubt that it wouldn’t take her life for the time being.
And there must be some other reason why the other was now so eager for her to acknowledge her sibling relationship with the other.
Thinking this way, she intoned, “I’ll figure out a way to do it, and in the worst case scenario… it’ll be a false start, but never really let the other guy get away with it.”
At this point, she looked at Little Moon and said in a deep voice, “When we go out, everything will depend on you, you have to keep yourself safe.”
Moon nodded heavily.
After the two had said their goodbyes, instead of letting her leave for their own safety, Bella Qiao let her stay in a room with him and rest together.
The next day, it was morning when I woke up.
Moon woke up before she did, and had already gathered herself by now.
Seeing that she was awake, he said, “Sister Bella Qiaoao, you’re awake!Want to wash your face?”
Georgie nodded.
Moon had already squeezed her toothpaste, and Georgie went into the washroom, washed her face and brushed her teeth, and looked at herself in the glasses.
I don’t know if it was her delusion, but she always felt that there was something strange about the person in front of her.
